Acid reflux is a very uncomfortable condition and is usually associated with a painful burning sensation. A sore throat is one very common symptom connected with the disease and can occur in both adults and children.
When people suffer from acid reflux, very few rush to the doctor for medical advice. These people expect that the problem will disappear on its own, as it appeared.
Very few people, unless they are very troubled by acidity, really seek a doctor’s intervention to treat acid reflux. When left untreated, the acidity levels grow, and after some time the food that is in the stomach is thrown up the alimentary canal with some force, and the food reaches the mouth. Ulcers will eventually develop in the alimentary canal making it uncomfortable and painful to eat or drink. Try not to let it get to this stage and seek treatment as soon as possible.
